For many people, and for many years now, Polyphony’s Good Friday performance of Bach’s sublime St John Passion has been a highlight of their concert season. With the top period instrument players of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and superb soloists, including Nick Pritchard as Evangelist and James Rutherford as Christ, all under the direction of one of the world’s finest choral conductors, Stephen Layton this is an event not to be missed. “The performances from Polyphony & Stephen Layton…were all superb” Planet Hugill, November 2022

"In all this the young choir was heroically alert and alive and sang with full-blooded magnificence, the orchestral players matching them at every moment." Messiah at St John's Smith Square, 23 December 2022 Ivan Hewitt, The Telegraph
